REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2012 SEASON You need to complete 3 easy steps in order to get your child registered for the 2012 Long Valley Junior Lacrosse Club season. STEP 1: Complete a US Lacrosse Registration, whether you are a new player or a returning player. You must provide us with proof of registration with US Lacrosse before you can register with the LVJLC. There is a $25 fee to register with US Lacrosse. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration from US Lacrosse…please print this out and bring it with you to in-person registration (step 3). You can renew or complete a new US Lacrosse registration here: Establish or Renew US Lacrosse Membership STEP 2: Download and complete your LVJLC registration forms. The links to the BOYS form and GIRLS form are at the bottom of this page. Please complete both the registration form and medical information form and review the US Lacrosse Membership Agreement and Code of Conduct. STEP 3: Attend one of our three in-person registration dates at the Benedict A. Cucinella school: Thursday, December 1st 7:00-9:00pm Saturday, December 10th 9:00am-Noon Wednesday, December 14th 7:00-9:00pm Wednesday, January 4th 7:00-9:00pm LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR 2012 PLEASE NOTE: There will be no mail-in registrations accepted this year. You MUST register in person if you want your child to play this year. Be sure to bring your proof of US Lacrosse registration along with your completed LVJLC registration forms for each child who will play. We accept checks as payment. Please make checks payable to LVJLC. Special note about Elite Team Tryouts for 7th & 8th grade girl’s players: We will once again field teams at the Travel and Elite levels for the 2012 season. The Elite team will be determined at a tryout in January. Elite team players will pay an ADDITIONAL FEE per player to participate if you are selected for the team. That fee could range from $100-$150 per player in addition to your LVJLC and US Lacrosse fees. Please give serious consideration to these fees before having your daughter tryout for the Elite team. Any player wishing to play on the 7/8 girls Elite team should complete an LVJLC registration. There will be more details to come regarding the Elite team tryouts. Players who are not selected for the Elite team will be placed on a travel team for the 2012 season. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING UNIFORMS FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 5-8: We will be changing the uniforms for all girls in grades 5-8 for the 2012 season. ALL girls in grades 5-8 will be required to purchase new uniforms (jersey & skirt) for the 2012 season. ALTHOUGH GIRLS IN GRADE 8 WILL PAY FOR A NEW UNIFORM AT REGISTRATION, THEY WILL BE REFUNDED THE COST OF THE UNIFORM IN MARCH. Girls in grades 5-7 will pay the cost for new uniforms for the 2012 season. We apologize for any inconvenience and the decision to take this unfortunate step. You may NOT use your uniform from last year for the 2012 season. |
